Bars & Restaurants
A warm welcome awaits you in the hotel bar where you can relax with a
coffee and newspaper. Why not sample some guest ales or wind the
evening down with a bottle of wine. Our lounge menu is served daily
from 12pm - 9pm where you can enjoy some of the finest
cuisine in Burslem.
Bennetts Restaurant
The Bennetts Restaurant is named after Arnold
Bennett, Son of Stoke-on-Trent whose memorabilia adorns
the walls. Bennett was a famous English Novelist, playright
and essayist born in Hanley, one of the six towns
that makes up “The Potteries”.
Bennetts is the main dining room at The George Hotel offering charm and
elegance to match the splendid cuisine on offer. The 52 cover
restaurant is open to both residents and non-residents 7 days a week
and is also available for exclusive hire for that special celebration
dinner or conference during the day.
The Nile Suite
The
Nile Suite offers private dining for up to 40 persons. The room has its
own private bar is situated in a very quiet part of the building on the
ground floor.
Flambe Suite
The
Flambe Suite has been newly decorated and can offer private dining or weddings of up to 80
people. This room is located on the lower ground floor and has its own
private bar in a room adjacent to the main room. Once the meal is
served, you can relax in this room while the tables are moved and the
carpet lifted to offer a dance floor to continue your celebrations.
The Ballroom
The
Ballroom has also been refurbished and is our largest function room. The room offers space for a
variety of functions, from weddings to corporate dinners, from family
gatherings to large dinner parties.
The room
can seat up to 200 for dinner and with its large dance floor allows
parties to continue with either live music or a disco.
